What Kind of F**kery Is This?

Society has come a long way with regards to what was viewed as taboo a few short years ago. It is now common to see commercials (as well as infomercials) for lubricants (For sexual intercourse), feminine hygiene products, male enhancement & performance products, STD's/STI's, and condoms, yet we still can't seem to come to grips with the infamous double standard: That it's more socially acceptable for men to be promiscous than women.

Society says it's okay for men to go around and screw everything with a vagina and get categorized as "The ladies man". "The cassanova". "That" nooka". "A playa". "A stud". Yet, when a woman opts to go around and screw everything with a penis she's "a whore". "A skank". "A slut". "A skeez". "A jump off".

Some would argue that it should be a woman's preogative to do with her body what she wants. Those same people might attribute a woman's promiscuity to her being a sexual being that finds pleasure in satisfying her sexual appetite.

This is such a loaded issue. As long as you protect yourself, are very selective and can handle the emotions that go along with having men in and out of your bed (and body) live your life.

Well I happen to think that anyone, male or female, who goes around sleeping with any and everybody without regard to his/her own emotional and physical well being, just because they CAN is a slut (whore, etc.)!!! Even if they use condoms every time they have sex, is it beneficial to their overall well being to hop into bed with every willing body? I don't think so. What does it say about them as a person to have such little or no control over their libido?

Sex can be really fun and exciting, even intense, but there's something to be said when you have sex with someone who knows more about you than just your last name and the last movie you saw.

That said, sometimes chemistry is a powerful thing and hard to resist. And we all give in at some point. As long as you're not giving into attraction and temptation with a different person every other night.

i agree with daria! although women feel like times are changing and it shouldnt be a double standard.. it is. End of story. the same reason why you wont find a man knocking down his number of sexual partners if asked but a woman would and do.. woman are receivers, and usually tie in emotion to the experience even if they tell themselves they don't.. all in all there's nothing wrong with being comfortable with your sexuality but at some point you need to have self control and not cave into every horny feeling.. i dont believe there's any fulfillment in having sex with a bunch of ppl you have no desire to be with in the future...

Hmmm...... This is a double standard that just won't go away. It is what it is. My son's mother thinks that she "thinks" like a guy and thinks that she can f**k whoever she wants...but the fact that she has tits and a cooter means that she is woman and a HOE for doing so. A guy can and will do the same and you can even call him a HOE or a Dirty Dick MF'er but it still doesn't hold the same weight as when a woman does it. That will never change. While I don't think it is any worse for a woman to do it then it is for a man. If a woman is going to do it she needs to be very discrete and keep her business to herself. The only way she gets the reputation of a HOE is by letting people know her business.
